Well, I've decided to make a NASCAR page since I am a NASCAR fan! Another reason I initially decided to make this NASCAR page, is to place the current driver point standings on here so that it is less bandwidth intensive for my folks who used to be on 24K dialup... :\ They now have DSL so it's not so bad. And since they are on DSL now, I can put this video on here which is the real reason we was all watch NASCAR. Not that we hope anyone gets hurt! After the video starts playing you can click on the menu button to see other related videos. I take no responsibility for what YouTube deems as related :).

A black No. 1 Chevrolet belonging to Dale Earnhardt Inc. sat forlornly under a car cover in the auxiliary garage area Thursday afternoon at Daytona International Speedway, and with it, perhaps the Chase for the Sprint Cup chances for Martin Truex Jr.

For members of the Coca-Cola Racing family, each victory in a Cup Series race is traditionally followed by a thirst-quenching chug of a Coke Zero in the winner's circle. This weekend, 13 of the sport's top drivers will attempt to give fans around the country their own "taste of victory" by taking the checkered flag in the inaugural Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway (8:00 p.m. ET Saturday, TNT).

Chip Ganassi Racing officials announced Tuesday the team will shut down the No. 40 Sprint Cup Series entry driven by rookie Dario Franchitti, effective immediately.
Well, I got the Driver Standings to work how I want and they are now shown below. :) My favorite driver is Dale Earnhardt, Jr. I also like Tony Stewart and Dale Jarrett as well; although, I think I like Dale Jarrett more for the cool UPS commercials with the racing truck antics. LOL Actually, there are quite a few others that I like as well.
If a race has just ended, you can check the Unofficial Standings. Actually, you can always check them as it will show the unofficial standings after the last completed race.
