The above was created using the Winamp Now Playing Plug-In version 2.1.2 in conjunction with a custom PHP script I wrote. The support site is gone now so I've linked to the plug-in at Winamp's site. You can also download the plug-in here: Now Playing v2.1.2

Internet Radio/TV

Ravetrax: It's not a state of mind, It's a way of life.

There used to be a now playing image here and links to different streams; however, RaveTrax.com is now just a redirect to their station listings at Shoutcast. Bummer.

Movies

Because it's the closest, decent, movie theater to me now in Oklahoma City, I go to the 24 screen AMC Theater in Quail Springs Mall.

For those in Stillwater, if you're sick of trying to reach Carmike Cinemas on the phone to find out what's playing, go to Carmike Cinema's page for Stillwater's Theater.

Check out Lew's Movie Reviews. He's one of my best friends that's been letting us know lately what he thinks of the movies he's seen. The presentation is still a little rough around the edges. To see what movies I like, check out the DVD section of my Home Theater page.

Comics

Dilbert ZoneDilbert Comic Strip.

Bars/Clubs

These are bars/clubs I go to on a sorta regular basis.

Dragon's Lair Club - Stillwater, OK
Yes, I'm afraid it's a gentleman's club. With a name like this, I couldn't resist checking it out, especially since it's only about a mile from where I live. Actually, a decent place to go. They make good fried mushrooms, serve Bud Dry and the scenery is darn nice. ;)

Eskimo Joes Logo Eskimo Joes - Stillwater, OK
"Stillwater's Jumpin' Little Juke Joint!" If you go to Stillwater just once, you have to go here. Perhaps the most famous place in Stillwater, that serves food and beer anyways. They also have live bands about every night. Several memorable times have been had here. "Hey Mike, I can't lift my leg!".

Russell's Logo Russell's - Oklahoma City, OK
It's actually a bar within a Marriot Hotel on NW Expressway. As of July 6, 2006 their site seems to be a big Flash application. Hate websites like that. Anyway, the link is now correct.

Television Shows

Newer Shows

Nowadays (as of 8/31/2004), it seems I watch quite a few shows regularly. Most of them happen to be on CBS: CSI: Crime Scene Investigations, CSI: Miami, Survivor, Cold Case, and Without A Trace. I also have the old cable box tuned into Discovery, The History Channel, and The Science Channel a good deal of time. Watch a lot of CNN too lately since the Iraq war started.

Older Favorites

Babylon 5, perhaps my favorite show. I like the fact that it is an on going story and not dis-jointed episodes.

XenaXena, One of the few shows that I watch regularly. The Xena Scrolls are quite interesting reading here. I did not know that Xena was based upon supposed real woman named Xena in ancient Greece. 8/31/2004 - Not sure where the official page went, so I'm linking to a fan site. Another fan sight you might check is Tom's Xena Page.

HerculesHercules, Seem to watch this one alot too. 8/31/2004 - Changed the links to the Yahoo TV Database listing for the show.

Reel DV8 Productions (link removed as it is no longer valid) "Beauty and Brains on the Internet" as they put it. "It's a gathering of actors, actresses, directors, producers, and movie information all brought together in Cyber Space." Ran into them during Pharaoh Games' trip to DefCon in Tulsa, OK. Nikki Fritz and JJ North were both there. Was kinda surprised they were here in Oklahoma, but I'm not complaining :). Here's a couple variations of an autographed picture I got from Nikki Fritz:

  1. Nikki Fritz, for monitors with a lower gamma
  2. Nikki Fritz, for monitors with a higher, more normal(?) gamma

Also have a really nice autographed color print of her, but, well, you'll have to go to their website and purchase one. They would probably frown on me if I posted it online. :)
